I love visual novels because they are the easiest to play. I know that sounds lazy, but I am sure many working adults agree that sometimes we want to escape, but we also do not want to grind hard for a little bit of fun.
Milk-Chan/Main Character — She seems to be sweet, but dealing with a lot mental disturbances. It takes her a great deal to stay focused on the simple task of getting the milk that her mother sent her to fetch. Yet, this is all too familiar to me since I have ADHD I sympathize with the main character.
The Overall Experience — I definitely enjoyed the game. Especially, when Milk-Chan just cracked open and spilled a lot about herself including her quirks, etcetera. She does ask for us/the player to not discuss or label her as just her disorders. I understand her. I get it. I feel bad for even mentioning her disorders even though this is a review of the game because I know how frustrating it can be to be considered only what you are labeled as. I take Milk-Chan just as she is without any judgment.
The only negative comment I have about Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk is that when she is finally opening up to you she just suddenly stops. Obviously, we know why she stops, but damn was it abrupt.
I definitely recommend that you play the prequel before moving on to the sequel. I know it is tempting to just jump into the second game since it is longer. You can purchase it now on Steam and Nintendo’s eShop.

Before you meet the main character you go through a scenario where she has a scary encounter in the kitchen before she runs through the door to her room.
Once inside the room, you’re greeted like an old friend. She remembers you. How very sweet. Yet, before she starts spilling Milk-Chan decided to not take her pills and created her own medicine that she felt would work better.
You are there because she is proud of what she has done, but she quickly regrets it as the pain comes back. Now you must convince her to take her pills along with searching her room for fireflies that are actually her thoughts. She needs to gather her thoughts before she can go to bed.
My favorite part of the sequel is when I achieved the “You’re Annoying” achievement when talking to Milk-Chan. You have to be annoying and ask her to repeat a story to get all of the details because she likes to hold back the things she doesn’t want others to know.
At the end of the game you end up going to the market with Treska to get more milk. She doesn’t like Treska, nor do the customers in the store.
One customer even says “Can you get him away from me?” Once the milk has been purchased you realize that Treska is actually Milk-Chan and that is how the world treats her.
