How I would explain it
Some dude wants you to recruit as many people as possible to this cult. You get to mine for ore, pick berries, cook meals, chop trees, yanno life duties. Yet, you also save and convert people to make some god-like dude happy. Oh, and you get to host sermons so get your cult papers ready!

First Impressions of Cult Of The Lamb
First I want to say thank you to the team for having a playable demo available to play. You have no idea how much I appreciate those that have playable demos available due to my timing and commitment issues.
Okay, this game is described as a dungeon crawler with a twist of town management. I totally understand the town management part, but don’t understand the dungeon dweller term… that’s just me.
If you are like me and don’t know what the fuck dungeon dweller means in regards to gaming here ya go!
Dungeon Dweller
A dungeon crawl is a type of scene in fantasy role-playing games in which the protagonist navigates in a labyrinth environment which is normally referred to as the “dungeon”. The protagonist will battle a variety of monsters, avoiding traps, solving puzzles, and looting treasure they may find.
Do RPGs turn you off? I ask because I cannot commit to RPGs. I say if you are like me then go ahead and download the demo to make sure you can handle it, but I can assure you that you will still want to play this game.
The game balances all aspects of what they’re trying to achieve snugly within the sweet spot of fun entertainment that hooks you in without all of the intense grinding that you would find in a game like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
What made me want to play this game is that it reminds me a lot of the game Fat Princess which is super-ultra cute, fun, and not that brain intensive. As an adult gamer, I use all of my mental power for working and do not want to exert my mental strength on a game. Sorry.
It also reminds me a bit of Don’t Starve which is another game that I love.
I played the demo all the way through and really enjoyed it. The soundtrack is a bop. The visuals are cute and inviting. I find the whole concept of the game to be flirty as it is “edgy” because if you explain what you do in the game people will be like “Are you serious?”
Definitely piques your interest.
Lastly, as someone that doesn’t get to play as many video games as they would like; I greatly appreciate all of the information available for this game. The trailers, the demo, the guides, and the community have been extremely helpful if you’ve never played a game like this before.
I already foresee this game becoming a cult (of the lamb, haha) classic, because even though my gaming is limited these days I am already wanting to play this game for hours which is rare as not much holds my attention.

What I Do Not Like About Cult Of The Lamb
I don’t like the fact that I didn’t even know this game was coming! Do you want to know how I even found out about this game?
I was asleep and I rolled over on top of my phone by accident and somehow YouTube played this IGN Video. I was too blurry-eyed to pay attention so I just immediately exited the YouTube app since I was trying to sleep, but made a note to check my history as it sounded very interesting.
Yeah, that was all this morning.
However, I am glad that I found the game the day of release instead of years later as I normally do. Thanks, Universe for looking out for me.
Overall I would give this game 4/5 stars!
