We Love Katamari
Seriously, we do. My absolute favorite Katamari game is Katamari Forever released in 2009, which was actually the first Katamari game I ever played.
This summer Bandai Namco is releasing another installment of the Katamari Series.

What Is We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie?
This is the fully remastered version of “We Love Katamari”, released in 2005 as the second title in the “Katamari” series. The game maintains the classic “Katamari Damacy” gameplay, but the upcoming release features upgraded graphics and superior playability.
The new release also includes a new mode titled “Royal Reverie” which has five new challenges from the childhood of the King. The new mode allows users to control the King himself, instead of just the Prince and his cousins like in the former games.
This is revolutionary for those who love the Katamari games but know how much of an asshole The King Of All Cosmos can be. If you enjoy the Katamari series you have to be okay with being told how much you suck at pretty much everything as the King doesn’t hold back.
You get to watch the King himself struggle to do his best under the yoke of the spartan education of his own strict father. Maybe, we will understand why the King behaves the way he does towards the Prince and his cousins. They always say you mimic your upbringing.
There’s More NEW Stuff In Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie
Of course, the game has improved drastically since the original 2005 release, with the addition of new modes and functions.
Here are a few things to expect from the upcoming release.
- “Gorgeous” graphics level which makes the game look amazingly better than the “Usual Stuff” counterpart.
- “Selfie” function that lets you take fun photographs of yourself
- “Improved Navigation” assists you in guiding you to your destination.
- “Eternal” is a mode that allows you to keep on rolling without any time limitations
- “Favorite BGM” where you will be able to create your own favorite playlists.
Are You New To The World Of Katamari?
If you happen to run across this post or happen to see this game somewhere on the internet and it piqued your interest, but have no clue what this game is all about here’s a brief description.
Your father, the King of All Cosmos accidentally destroyed all of the stars and celestial bodies in the universe except for Earth. He sends his son, the Prince down to Earth to create Katamaris.
Katamaris are clumps or clods. In the game, you will roll Katamaris that can absorb all sorts of items including but not limited to food, buildings, animals, paperclips, and even humans can be absorbed by the Katamari.
Each level has a goal that you must complete such as making your Katamari a certain size before the King will accept it and throw it into the universe as a new star, planet, or whatever the King deems it worthy to be.
If you are someone that has played the Katamari games are you excited about the release? I know that I am looking forward to playing in Royal Reverie mode and seeing all my cousins in the game.
Not excited about this news? What games are you looking forward to? Let me know!
