It is not made of flesh and bone, and it is not an authority. Because these tools speak in human-like ways, it becomes the user’s responsibility to remain aware of their own agency. At any moment, the user can change the interaction, stop the conversation, verify information, or step away entirely. Self-responsibility allows humans to use AI as a tool rather than mistake it for a guide.
