A new movie titled Condition of Return is coming to your living room on September 29, 2023.
The weather is getting colder and for me, that means more cozy times sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, and watching my favorite type of movie, mystery thriller films.
Tommy Stovall’s upcoming movie releases just in time for my “cozy” thriller movie viewing session.
The movie poster caption tells us to “Be careful what you wish for”, from my own personal experience I wholeheartedly agree with this quote, but what could Condition of Return possibly be referencing?
About Condition of Return
AnnaLynne McCord stars in a new mystery thriller movie alongside my favorite 90’s actor, Dean Cain mostly known for being Superman in the hit series Lois & Clark.
We also have Natasha Henstridge from the movie Species and James Russo from Django Unchained, but I know him from Beverly Hills Cop. This is a great cast for the streaming screen.
The movie description — a churchgoing woman who makes a heinous deal with the Devil, but what happens when you don’t like the terms and conditions of the deal you made with the Devil? Hm.
First Impressions
Solely based on the 1-minute trailer that I just watched. I’m interested.
The trailer starts off with a visibly disturbed individual with a gun in hand, heading toward the front of the church. Then it cuts to a woman talking about a mass shooting at the church. Then there’s the scene where AnnaLynne McCord says to Dean Cain, that she feels sorry for him because hell is real. Dean replies is that where you believe I’m going?
I, too, want to know if that is what she is implying. The trailer tips into the possibility that the main character may be mentally unfit for a trial, but is she?
If you’re obsessed with true crime like myself and many others we all know when someone has committed such an obscene crime, the criminal often deems themself as mentally unstable.
Sure, Miss McCord seems a little gone, but not enough to make me believe she’s not fully operational behind those eyes.
Even though we’ve heard and seen similar tales, there’s always the simple question of why that makes us want to see it through.
Why did McCord’s character commit such a heinous crime?
She says the Devil told her to do what she did, but did they really? Is this person unwell or is the devil really whispering sweet nothings in her ear?
I want to know what AnnaLynne McCord’s character wanted so badly that she felt they needed to make a deal with the Devil.
I want to see what the director and producer, Tommy Stovall, believes a deal with the Devil gone wrong is like.
